
Beypore port sub-port is a port of Calicut and is located about 10 km south of Calcutta. This is a port on the estuary of the river flows into the Arabian Sea Beypore. Beypore is 180 km north of Cochin and 391 km from Trivandrum. Beypore port is the second largest port after Cochin in Kerala and currently manages approximately 100,000 tons of cargo annually. The sanctuary is spread over a group of islands in a picturesque location surrounded by hills where the river empties into the Arabian Sea Kadalundi. The place is known locally as Kadalundi Nagaram.There is a light house also Chaliyar, just off Beypore.
Location: Beypore is well connected by road and is just 11 km from Calicut.
Calicut airport is at Karipur and is 23 km from Calicut city centre.
